Luncheon with the UN

So last Wednesday, Brett and I had to drop off a receipt to the UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) headquarters here in Muscat since they gave us $2600 in sponsorship for our new babies to go to the AIESEC conference in Bahrain. After we gave them the receipt, one of them invited us for lunch and Brett responded (in Arabic) "sorry, we can't but thank you" and we were about to leave and then all the employees came downstairs and were introducing themselves to us and then they invited us again for lunch. At this point we couldn't say no, so we agreed and were treated with an assortment of Arabic and Indian cuisine and had some really cool conversations with them.

UNFPA will be participating at the Bahrain conference as facilitators and they will also have their brand distributed at the conference (on name tags/shirts/banners/etc.). This looks like it could be the beginning of a really awesome relationship between AIESEC Oman and UNFPA.
